About the Coach
Coach Chris Wells
Born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan and raised on the game, Coach Chris Wells earned his spot at Concordia University Wisconsin on both athletic and academic scholarships — a Northern Athletics Collegiate Scholar-Athlete and team captain.
With a degree in Education Studies focused on health and coaching, and 18+ years of experience developing players at every level, Chris brings a complete approach to player development. He's helped countless athletes earn full collegiate scholarships.
As Associate Head Coach of the Wisconsin Playground Club (Under Armour Association), he guided the 2022 and 2025 teams. He coached Ray Allen Select 14U to the AAU Division I National Championship runner-up finish, and served as assistant varsity coach at Whitefish Bay High School — helping them win a State Championship.
